The Peninsula Regional Animal Shelter, in partnership with Wavy TV 10, is hosting an adoption event for the national "Clear the Shelters" campaign. The goal of the campaign is to get every adoptable animal in the shelter into a forever home. To help make that happen, the shelter is offering 50 % off all adoptions for one day only. The event will take place Saturday August 19, 2017 from 9 am - 7 pm at the Peninsula Regional Animal Shelter located at 5843 Jefferson Avenue.
