On August 8th, 2017, at 2:59 PM, Newport News Communications
received a call of a shooting in the 400 block of Old Colonial Way. Upon
arrival, officers located a 38 year old male suffering from gunshot
wounds. The male was transported to a local hospital with life threatening
injuries. That is all the information available at this time. The investigation
