Newport News Park will hold a 50th Anniversary Celebration on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 11:00 AM inside the Park at Picnic Shelters 19 & 20. City and State officials will unveil commemorative plaques that will be placed at the renovated flagpole plaza on Constitution Way (the Park's main road) along with a time capsule.
