In honor of the golden anniversary of Newport News Park, the Newport News Tourism Development Office will award 50 prizes to 50 winners during its Newport News Tourism Awareness Contest, held annually to celebrate National Travel & Tourism Week. The contest - dubbed Where in the World Can You Find These Parks in Newport News? - will start May 1 in the Daily Press newspaper and continue through May 20. Contestants will be given photographic clues that match up to eight locations in Newport News where parks are found.
