The World Arts Celebration, scheduled for Saturday, May 21, 2016 at City Center is postponed due to the forecast of heavy rain on Saturday. The rescheduled date will be announced.
Want to travel the world for free without leaving the city? Come experience international culture on the peninsula as the City of Newport News and the Virginia Arts Festival presents the 2nd Annual World Arts Celebration. Guests will get to enjoy food, music, dancing, and art from more than 20 countries during the free event at City Center on Saturday, May 21st from 4 PM to 9 PM.
There will be a countdown to the event highlighting fun facts from the countries represented during the festival starting April 21 on the City’s Facebook and Twitter pages. Use #NNWAC16 and #NNCulture to follow along.
