On September 30, 2015, at 6:54 pm an unknown man entered the CVS Pharmacy located at 13000 Warwick Blvd., produced a handgun and robbed the business. There were several customers in the store at the time of the robbery. The man approached a clerk and demanded he open the register. The suspect then fired a round in the ceiling and the clerk complied giving the suspect an undetermined amount of cash from several registers. The suspect, described as a black male, thin, wearing a Chicago Bulls ball cap, surgical gloves a grayish long sleeve pullover, dark pants and black tennis shoes, left the business last seen northbound on Warwick Blvd. No one was injured. Police recovered the fired round. The investigation is ongoing.
