[ARCHIVED] C.R.I.M.E. PROJECT SUMMIT MEETING

On Saturday, September 26, 2015, a second community-wide meeting will be held for the C.R.I.M.E. PROJECT (C.R.I.M.E. stands for "Creating Responsibility In My Environment").

This summit will be held at Menchville High School, 275 Menchville Road, Newport News. The session begins at 9:00 a.m., and will run through 3:00 p.m.

Chief Richard Myers, the C.R.I.M.E. Project Co-Chairs, and Steering Committee members extend the invitation to citizens, students, business members, and others who are committed to the vision of a safer Newport News, and are interested in taking the steps towards making that vision a reality.

At this summit, the work of the C.R.I.M.E. Steering Committee will be presented, along with goals developed for the strategic plan. Action groups will be formed of interested participants.
