[ARCHIVED] 05/10/2015 Shell Station Robbery Prompts Police Request for Suspect Identity

On 5/10/2015, at about 3:40 AM police responded to calls of a robbery at the Shell Gas Station located at 4900 Jefferson Avenue. Two store clerks were present during the robbery and indicated an unknown man came inside the store holding a chrome colored handgun. The man demanded money and cigarettes be placed into a bag. The man took the bag and left. No one was injured in the incident. The suspect was described as an older black male in his 40’s or 50’s in dark clothing, shorts and an unknown emblem on his over-sized shirt. The investigation is ongoing.
