Beginning Wednesday, April 29th, contractors will start milling and paving work along Jefferson Avenue between Fort Eustis Boulevard and Yorktown Road in the northern section of the city. The work will be done at night, Sunday through Thursday, between the hours of 8 PM and 5 AM. It is expected to take the contractor two to three weeks to complete the repaving project, weather permitting. There will be light and noise impacts near the work area, and motorists should be prepared for delays in the area during construction as traffic will be restricted to a single lane during construction.
Citizens with questions about the project can contact the City’s 311 Center at 757-933-2311 or email@example.com.
