A Newport News Waterworks customer reported that someone called offering to test her water and told her Waterworks had recommended it. Waterworks want you to know that these are NOT City employees, and Waterworks does NOT recommend having your tap water tested by a private company. Rest assured, our state-certified lab conducts thousands of water quality tests each month, and your water is clean and safe to drink straight from the tap.
