[ARCHIVED] Police Seek Bank Robber in 03/04/2015 Old Point National Bank Robbery

On March 4, 2015, at 12:12 PM officers were dispatched to Old Point National Bank located at 11751 Jefferson Ave., in reference to a bank robbery. Bank employees advised a masked black male entered the bank with a black revolver in his hand. The man demanded a teller take him behind the teller counter and then demanded cash from the cash drawers. After obtaining cash the man placed the money in a brown bank bag and fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a black male 40 - 45 years old, 5’ 10” with a long blue P coat type jacket, a light tan or khaki shirt, blue jeans and a black handgun. The suspect was last seen on foot towards Kingsway Drive.
