Christmas Holiday Week Closings and Schedules
- City Offices & Libraries – closed Thursday and Friday, Dec. 24 and 25
- Garbage, recycling and bulk waste collections – As scheduled; no change in collection schedule for week of Dec. 21
- Recovery Operations Center – closed Thursday - Saturday, Dec. 24-26
- Peninsula Regional Animal Shelter – Open 12-4 on Thursday, Dec. 24 for adoptions and closed Friday, Dec. 25; reunite lobby open daily from 8 AM – 5 PM for surrenders, reclaims and stray drop offs.
New Year’s Holiday Week Closings and Schedules

- Garbage, recycling and bulk waste collections – As scheduled; no change in collection schedule for week of Dec. 28
- Recovery Operations Center – closed Friday and Saturday, Jan. 1 & 2
- Peninsula Regional Animal Shelter – closed Friday, Jan. 1; reunite lobby open daily from 8 AM – 5 PM for surrenders, reclaims and stray drop offs. (NOTE: While shelter is normally closed on Tuesdays for adoptions, it will be open 12-5 on Tuesday, Dec. 29.)
