The Peninsula Regional Animal Shelter, in collaboration with Papa John’s Pizza of Hampton Roads, is hosting an on-site, family friendly adoption event on Saturday, March 7 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM “Pizza and Pets” will feature Papa John’s pizza for purchase along with dogs, cats and pocket pets looking for their forever home. Casey Subaru in Newport News, another generous supporter of the animal shelter, will sponsor the first 20 adoptions of the day by paying for the adoption fees. Papa John’s sponsored race car and race team will also be at “Pizza and Pets” as will a variety of vendors and other animal rescues from across the Hampton Roads area.
