Join us on Monday, December 29, 2014 from 6:00pm 7:30pm at the Doris Miller Community Center as we celebrate family, community, and culture. Imani, which is to believe with all our heart in our people, our parents, our teachers, our leaders, and the righteousness and victory of our struggle.
Purpose can be obtained in life by serving others in a variety of ways. The Doris Miller Community Center will celebrate purpose by collectively building and developing our communities in order to restore people to greatness. The Doris Miller Community Center, a facility of Newport News Parks, Recreation & Tourism, serves the needs, wants, and interest of the South East Community and the City of Newport News at large by providing athletic and culturally enriching activities for all ages.
This Kwanza celebration will include cultural dances, musical entertainment, and much more. This event is free and open to the public. For more information, call 757-247-8603
