To better serve its customers, Newport News Waterworks is launching a new account portal and mobile app on November 1. Both will offer top-of-the-line security, easy-to-use account management tools, and enhanced service options. Using the new e-services portal/app you will be able to:
- view and pay bills;
- receive alerts and reminders;
- schedule payments;
- view account summary and payment/usage history; and
- place online requests for certain services (ex: requesting a meter re-read or reporting low pressure).
Beginning November 1, customers can go to nnva.gov/PayWaterBill and click the “Connect with Us” button to get started. To download the new app, go to the iTunes App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) and search for My NNWW Water App on November 1. Customers with the current app will need to delete it and install the new one.
If you already have an account on the existing portal, you will need to re-register using the new portal beginning November 1. Customers who have bookmarked the current payment site should delete it and bookmark the new site on November 1. Also, automated payments scheduled via the current site will not be processed once the new site is launched on November 1. If you have scheduled automated payments via the current site, you must re-register on the new site and set up a new payment schedule beginning November 1.
