[ARCHIVED] Police Seek Cash Advance Robbery Suspect

On November 20, 2014 at about 1:40 PM an unknown man entered the Cash Advance located at 1055 J. Clyde Morris Blvd., handed the clerk a note indicating he had a handgun and demanded cash. The suspect took the note back and the clerk complied with the suspect’s demands giving him cash. The suspect left on foot in an unknown direction of travel.

The man is describes as a black male 5’”7’-5”-9”, medium complexion, slender to medium build, wearing a black baseball cap and a black shirt.

Surveillance video shows the man enter the store earlier then return several minutes later and commit the robbery. No one was injured. The investigation is ongoing.
