[ARCHIVED] Suspect Sought in First Virginia/Check Smart Robbery

On November 19, 2014, at 11:35 AM, an unknown black male entered and robbed the First Virginia/ Check Smart, located at 696 J. Clyde Morris Blvd. The offender displayed a black semi-automatic handgun in his right hand and ordered the clerks and two customers to the floor. The man obtained cash and fled from the scene, out the front door and ran to the left.

The suspect is described as a black male with a dark complexion, 6'0" tall, slim build, possibly in his 20's, wearing a grey/charcoal jacket with fur around the hood, black pants, black shoes, black gloves, and a navy blue bandana with white a white design.

No one was injured. The investigation is ongoing.
