Solid Waste will NOT collect trash, bulk and recycling on Thursday, January 4. Crews will attempt to resume collections on Friday as road conditions allow. A revised collection schedule will be determined by weather and road conditions. Visit the city's website and social media pages for updates.
Residents are advised NOT to put their carts on the street or near the curb on Thursday in order to allow snow plowing to occur and to avoid the carts being knocked over by the force of snow being ejected from the plow. Additionally, the strong winds forecasted for Thursday will likely cause many carts to be blown over, resulting in spillage of the contents
The Recovery Operations Center (aka Denbigh Compost and Dropoff Facility) is closed on Thursday, January 4.
