IMG_1012

On December 12, 2017 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., Acting Police Chief Mike Grinstead will host his second “Chief on the Go” event at the Wawa located at 12095 Jefferson Ave., near Tech Center. Once again, Chief Grinstead will use the NNPD Command Bus as his mobile office and will meet with residents and give tours of the bus.

The community is invited to stop by anytime during those hours and meet with the Chief who will be answering questions about the Department’s current crime prevention initiatives and programs, as well as be available to address other community policing concerns. During this event there will also be Spanish speaking officers available to speak with residents about any questions or concerns they have.

The “Chief on the Go” program is an opportunity for Chief Grinstead and officers to spend more time with our citizens and connect with them in their neighborhoods. Chief Grinstead will continue to travel in the Command Bus to other parts of the city and hopes people take advantage of this time for one-on-one dialogue and interaction.
