On Saturday, May 13, you and your kids have the chance to participate in an all-day play date with nature! Enjoy Nature Play Learning Stations from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., both inside the Museum and outside for nature lovers of all ages to explore.

Play, learn and have fun at the same time – with nature!
Learn what lives under rocks and logs or learn the difference between sandy soil and soil with clay. Try to figure out why flowers and plants look and sometimes smell the way they do! The things you and your nature lover do and discover during your play date with nature can be repeated wherever nature can be found.
Play Date with Nature Day is included in museum admission and is supported by a grant from the Disney Conservation Fund and the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. The Virginia Living Museum is only one of 13 museums in the country that has a dual accreditation from both the Association of Zoos and Aquariums and the American Alliance of Museums.
