Are you looking for a fun, organized summer camp

setting for your children? Look no further! Newport News Youth Programs is offering two summer day camps where children have the opportunity to learn important life lessons through play. This summer children explore different time periods each week – A New Nation, Dinosaurs, Wild West, Medieval Times, Ancient Egypt, Space Exploration, etc. – through crafts, games, group play and more.
Children have the opportunity to go on field trips in surrounding areas like the Portsmouth Children’s Museum, Norfolk Zoo, Lazer Rush, Rebounderz, and more. All of the field trips are covered in the cost of the program except the final field trip to Ocean Breeze (School Age) and Water Country USA (Teens) which are parent paid. The camps also work with Newport News Public Schools to offer a lunch and afternoon snack to every participant at no extra cost.
