Starting today, Old Harpersville Road at Warwick Boulevard is closed due to construction activities at the adjacent new development. Commuters can access Old
Harpersville Road from Harpersville Road for local traffic but there is no access to Old Harpersville from Warwick Boulevard. Work in the intersection of Warwick Boulevard and Old Harpersville Road is scheduled to be complete by the end of May.
The construction improvements include the realignment of Old Harpersville Road at the intersection and the installation of a traffic signal with pedestrian crosswalks and accommodations. The improved intersection will also provide signalized access to Yeardley Place.
