Youth Commission is hosting a middle school alcohol and drug prevention lock-in at the Brittingham-Midtown Community Center, 570 McLawhorne Drive in Newport News
The free event includes a talent show, laser tag, basketball, games, group activities and much more.
Sponsored by the Mayor’s Youth Commission, Newport News Human Services, Alternatives, Inc., and Newport News Parks and Recreation, the event is funded by a Virginia Department of Alcohol Beverage Control grant. Guest speakers will talk about alcohol myths and facts.
