In recognition of Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Month, the
Newport News Child Advocacy Team is holding their annual Celebrity Night from 5:00 – 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 6. Enjoy an evening of great food and fun at Salsa’s Mexican Grill at City Center where local celebrities will serve your dinner. Salsa’s is located at 704 Mariners Row #110 in Newport News.
In addition to a 50/50 raffle and a raffle for a Fit Bit, the Newport News Child Advocacy Team will also have t-shirts, bags, and tumblers for sale, and a silent auction will be held during the evening. Salsa's karaoke night is happening at the same time, so come enjoy delicious food, sing a song, and win some great prizes while you help the children of Hampton Roads!
Established in November 1975, the Newport News Child Advocacy Team is a multi-disciplinary team of service professionals and citizens who advocate for the early detection, comprehensive treatment and community wide prevention of child abuse and neglect, and child sexual abuse.
