I’m bored, what’s going on in Newport News?
The Newport News Department of Human Services

Advisory Board is holding a Town Hall/Information session for youth and their families on Saturday, March 25th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Brittingham-Midtown Community Center. With the theme of I’m bored, what’s going on in Newport News?, the session will look at how youth remain engaged and involved in activities when they are out of school. Young people and families have the opportunity to look at summer programs, volunteer projects, and year-round activities available for youth in Newport News.
Stop by the meeting to see a variety of

city departments and community organizations available for hands-on demonstrations and to answer your questions about youth summer activities. For additional information, contact Matthew Melvin, Human Services Advisory Board Chair, at 757-602-7816.
