Did you know the Newport News Public Library System offers free customized group computer training to all City of Newport News departments as well as local businesses and organizations? Recently, the Newport News Police Department’s Crash Reconstruction

Team worked with the Library System to receive training in Microsoft Excel. The Library System, offered the two-part class which totaled six hours of Excel training to 11 officers. The training, featured Excel 201 and 202, which are both offered regularly at all Newport News Public Library branches.
Training is open to the public and offered at South Morrison Public Library’s computer training lab, or library staff can conduct the training at the business or organization’s location.
