Facility now open 7 days a week

with her parents and Dr. Theresa Guins of Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters (CHKD), was the first patient seen when the hospital recently opened the Peninsula’s first urgent care center just for kids. Located at 680 Oyster Point Road in Marketplace at Tech Center, CHKD Urgent Care center is now open seven days a week from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM Monday through Friday and 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM Saturday and Sunday.
The center is staffed by CHKD pediatricians, nurses and physician assistants who provide care for common childhood illnesses and injuries including colds, flu, sinus and ear infections, asthma, gastrointestinal issues, sports and orthopedic injuries and suturing for cuts that need stitches. X-ray and lab capabilities are also on-site.
