In October, Eastern Shore sculptor David Turner and Virginia artist Jim Wilson, passionate advocates for Virginia wildlife, hosted a two-day Wild at Art

show as part of the Museum’s 50th anniversary celebration. This show featured artworks to inspire appreciation of man’s relationship with nature.
A portion of sales supported wildlife conservation at the Virginia Living Museum and the artists were able to donated $2,100 to the museum.
“David and Jim's extraordinary talents support engaging field conservation programming for all ages at the museum,” said VLM Executive Director Rebecca Kleinhample. “Programs ranging from FrogWatch to oyster bed restoration bring us all closer to a sustainable environment.”
