Workshop on how to Qualify and Apply For An Enterprise Zone

Learn More About Grants and Incentives Offered to Businesses

The Virginia Department of Housing & Community Development will be conducting a free workshop designed to provide an in-depth overview VA EnterpriseZone_SCof "How-to-Qualify" and "How to Apply" for Virginia Enterprise Zone grant incentives. Virginia Enterprise Zones provide state and local grants and local tax abatements for qualifying for-profit companies that create new full-time jobs and new taxable investment.

The workshop will be held on Wednesday, January 11, in the City of Hampton’s Ruppert Sargent Building, 1 Franklin Street, from 1 PM to 4 PM. Attendees can receive detailed instructions on the qualification process for the 2016 grant year for Real Property Investment Grants and Job Creation Grants. To attend register online before the January 6 deadline. Event parking is free in the parking deck located at the intersection of Armor Arch and Settlers Landing Road.
