2017 Parents Against Bullying Youth Step Show

Team registration is still available

On Saturday, January 14, 2017, join Parents Against Bullying as they present the 4th Annual Youth Step Show competition at Huntington Middle School, 3401 Orcutt Avenue in Newport News. The Stand Your Ground 4 Peace competition is a safe and YouthStepShow_SCfamily friendly event that will be held from 4 PM to 7 PM. The competition is “celebrating the community taking a stand against bullying and domestic violence.” Previous participants have included teams from Virginia, Maryland and New York. Prizes will include $500 and a trophy for first place, $200 and trophy for second place and $100 and a plaque for third place.

The competition is limited to eight teams and registration fees increase after December 19th. The participant’s age requirement is age 17 and younger. For an information package and registration form for the step teams or for tickets, please email or call 757-329-2859.

Parents Against Bullying (PAB) is a 501(c)3 that strives to prevent bullying and provide support to youth and families that have been affected. Their goal is to teach youth and families to speak up and speak out against bullying. Parents Against Bullying has been selected as one of the 2017 designated charities for the Newport News One City Marathon.
