With the year winding down, children are anticipating

winter break but some parents may still be required to work. The Newport News Parks, Recreation, and Tourism’s Youth Programs is helping parents figure out what to do with their children during winter break with the Blizzard Bonanza program.
Blizzard Bonanza is a fun program that will run starting December 22 and also December 27 through December 30. Children can come to Brittingham-Midtown Community Center as early as 6 AM and stay as late as 6 PM. The camp will work to keep youth engaged with educational and creative thinking activities. The program costs $27 per day and families may
register online or on site. For more information contact 757-926-1400 or visit
