Elite Airways to Begin Service to New York & Long Island in March
The City of Newport News is extremely proud

to welcome Elite Airways to the Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport (PHF), with service to New York/Newark, and Islip/Long Island, beginning on March 13, 2017. Flights are scheduled for three times a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, to and from both destinations. Flights will depart PHF in the early morning, with late afternoon return flights. CEO John Pearsall has also indicated that Elite will announce non-stop service to Florida at a later date.
The return of non-stop service to New York from PHF is especially exciting for local residents, business representatives and military personnel who have needed to use other airports and airlines and other modes of transportation to access the New York,

New Jersey and Long Island areas. The new service will be very affordable with fares starting as low as $99 each way, including all taxes and fees.
Elite Airways was formed in 2006 and enjoys an impeccable safety record along with strong service growth. Elite owns and operates a fleet of comfortable and reliable 50 and 70 - seat Bombardier jets all configured in “Elite” class seating. With the new service, two aircraft will be home-based right here in Newport News at PHF. Elite Airways’ success comes with offering conveniences such as no change fees, free first checked bag (up to 50 lbs.), free carry-on bag, free in-flight snacks and non-alcoholic beverages and a pet–friendly flying experience.
Elite Airways currently serves many U.S. destinations in cities located in Maine, New York, New Jersey, South Carolina and Florida to name a few. For more information and to purchase tickets, go to
