Civil War history will come to life on April 9th and 10th as reenactors and

living historians re-create historic battles and camp life at Endview Plantation. The focus of this year’s event will be the “1862 Siege of Yorktown”. A newly opened quarter mile trail will host tours on Saturday, and will be open for self-guided tours throughout the weekend. Food and merchandise will be available for purchase. The hours of the event are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $9.00 per person. Children under the age of 7 are free.
In addition to the battle re-creation,

will be given demonstrations and insights about the siege. The house at Endview Plantation will also be open for tours at select times throughout the weekend. Endview Plantation was built in 1769 and functioned as headquarters for the Civil War generals during the Peninsula Campaign of 1862.
