Keep America Beautiful launches the #BeRecycled Sweepstakes
America Recycles Day, a program of Keep America Beautiful, is a nationally recognized day dedicated to promoting and celebrating recycling in the United States. In support of America Recycles Day, national nonprofit Keep America Beautiful launched the
#BeRecycled Sweepstakes, inspiring participants to continuously live a recycled lifestyle. It’s the hope that celebrating recycling and all the wonderful things it does for this region will inspire residents to recycle more, trash less all year long. The organization provides an array of
tools and resources to help improve recycling in America.

The America Recycles Day #BeRecycled Sweepstakes can be accessed through the
Keep America Beautiful Facebook page and does not require a Facebook login for entry. The sweepstakes will close at 11:59 PM on Nov. 18. Winners will be contacted shortly thereafter. The Grand Prize will include a $1,000 gift card to
hayneedle.com, a leading online home furnishings and décor retailer offering a wide selection of Green Living products. Second prize offers a pair of
Trex planter boxes made from 95 percent recycled content and third prize is a $250 hayneedle.com gift card.
“#BeRecycled is a call-to-action to invite individuals to actively pursue and live a recycled lifestyle,” said Brenda Pulley, Senior Vice President, recycling, Keep America Beautiful. “We encourage everyone to take the #BeRecycled Pledge and to commit to the ‘Reduce. Reuse. Recycle.’ mantra in every aspect of their lives. And it doesn’t have to stop there! There is an abundance of products that are made with recycled content – make a pledge to buy those items over the traditional versions.”
