Tip-A-Cop for Special Olympics

Join the Newport News Police Department and Red Robin Special_Olympics1_SCGourmet Burgers this Saturday as they team up to raise money for the Special Olympics at the 11th annual Tip-A-Cop event. The event will be held Saturday, October 22nd at the Red Robin located on Jefferson Ave. at Patrick Henry Mall. During lunchtime from 11 AM to 3 PM and again during dinner from 4 PM to 8 PM, Newport News Police personnel will be volunteering their time to serve customers alongside Red Robin servers to raise money for a very special cause. All tips given to Newport News Police personnel will be given to the Special Olympics of Virginia.

Tip-A-Cop is part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run campaign andTip_A_Cop_SC all of the money earned at the event goes directly to the programs in the state where the money was raised. On November 7th, the Newport News Police Department will host the Law Enforcement Torch Run at Pomoco Stadium at Christopher Newport University.
