The driving tour takes participants through several points of interest in the city such as Historic Hilton Village, Newport News Shipyard, Victory Arch, Downing-Gross Cultural Arts Center, Newsome House Museum & Cultural Center, Newport News Park, Lee Hall Mansion, and the Army Transportation Museum at Fort Eustis, among others. The tour includes stops at The Mariners’ Museum, Ferguson Center for the Arts, Virginia War Museum, the James A. At the end of the FAM tour, participants are asked to take the Newport News Hospitality Ambassador test. All who pass become certified Newport News Hospitality Ambassadors.
