Adriana Trigiani presents at CNU on October 13
Dubbed by USA Today as “one of the reigning queens of women’s fiction,” Adriana Trigiani is presenting an author talk and book signing on Thursday, Oct. 13 at 7:00 PM at Christopher Newport University. Best known for her best-selling Big Stone Gap series,

Adriana Trigiani is the author of sixteen bestselling books. In addition, she is an award winning filmmaker for the documentary Queens of the Big Time, and wrote and directed Big Stone Gap, a major motion picture filmed in her Virginia hometown. The event is open to the public. Free tickets are available and recommended as ticket holders will be seated first; any remaining seats will then be open to guests without tickets.
Tickets for the author talk, question-and-answer session and book signing are now available at the sponsoring libraries of the Virginia Peninsula Literary Consortium, which consists of the public libraries of Newport News, Hampton, Poquoson and York County and the academic libraries of Christopher Newport University, Hampton University and Thomas Nelson Community College.
The tickets are provided on a first-come, first-served basis and limited to two per person while supplies last. Open seating to the event, is held in the David Student Union ballroom at Christopher Newport University, is limited, and attendees are advised to arrive early. Doors open at 6:30 PM. In celebration of the tenth anniversary of the Virginia Peninsula Literary Consortium, all guests are invited to enjoy cake and light refreshments after the talk.
