One City Historical Foundation to Raise Funds for Restoration of The Harwood House

On Wednesday, September 21st, the One City Historical Foundation is sponsoring a silent auction and raffle at Cozzy’s Comedy Club & Tavern in Hilton Village. The One City Historical Foundation is a nonprofit organization which supports the restoration and use of the Harwood House harwood house_SClocated at 5400 Huntington Avenue in the historic North End of Newport News and the proceeds of this event benefit the restoration of the home.

The Foundation hopes this fundraiser will allow for materials to be purchased to rebuild the home’s wraparound porch. Doors open at 5 PM for meals and drinks and family friendly comedy begins at 7 PM. Tickets are $10 per person and payments are accepted by cash or check.
