Exhibit ends September 5th
This is the final month of the Virginia Living Museum’s

Dinosaur Discoveries exhibit. This exhibit will take visitors back millions of years to when dinosaurs ruled the world. Enjoy a growling robotic T-rex, be greeted by an Apatosaurus mother and her baby, observe baby dinosaurs hatching from a nest, and cool off with the water-spitting Dilophosaurus and water-shooting Bombadier Beetle.
There are life like creations all throughout the exhibit full of information about the world’s prehistoric past and even lessons about the planet’s future. The interactive exhibit lets visitors push buttons to move the dinosaurs and dig to discover fossils. Take a trip to the Wason Education Center Lobby for the Dinosaur Days Live Animal program to learn more about when dinosaurs roamed the earth.

Of course the Museum makes the connection of modern day dinosaur relatives with an exhibit of the Gila monster, one of the most venomous lizards in the world typically found in the southwestern part of the United States. There’s still time to catch this incredible exhibit before it goes extinct September 5th!
