This month, the Mariners’ Museum is offering $1 admissions to

celebrate the community that made the Museum a reality. Listen as volunteers and staff members tell stories and share unique information about artifacts and this region’s history – from the USS Monitor to the steam ships in the Great Hall.
Every Monday, Friday, and Saturday, visitors can meet at the Chesapeake Bay Lens in the Museum’s Lobby at 10 AM and 2 PM to hear inspiring Naval history events that took place on the respective day. Each story is told by author and historian John V. Quarstein and includes a 30-minute talk followed by a quick tour of a gallery or particular artifact that is related to the historic event.
