Renovations at Pearl Bailey Library, located in the

Southeast Community are now complete. The main projects included upgrades to the meeting room and the public computer lab. The meeting room—used frequently for meetings, events, and classes—now boasts a new state-of-the-art Audio Visual system featuring a ceiling projector, screen, ceiling-mounted speakers, and multiple adapters. The room has new wall-to-wall carpeting and a fresh paint job. The public computer lab, which was once fully enclosed by walls, now has a large store-front window to allow for a larger-feeling, well-lit workspace. This new change allows staff to see patrons better, thereby enabling them to assist patrons more easily.

Grissom Library, located in the Denbigh area, has also received renovations which are almost complete. In addition to new restrooms which are now open for men, women, families, and staff, Grissom Library also has a new, large meeting room with Audio Visual system. The meeting room is nearly complete and is pending the final inspection.
