Adults can enjoy exploring

different themed garden beds, including a rock garden, native grasses gardens, pollinator garden, evergreen garden, and ask Master Gardeners any gardening questions.
Built in 2002 by the Virginia Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners, in cooperation with the Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism, the volunteer group has just completed a three-year revitalization of the garden to include interactive signage, native plants, an expanded garden for the visually impaired and Braille signage. Additionally, there are now brochures on site containing plant identifications and suggested activities for children.
