Experience cultures from around the globe at the World Arts Celebration at City Center this Saturday from 4-9 PM as folk dance, live music, martial arts, and storytelling performances fill three different stages. The World Stage features Panamanian Folkloric Group of Hampton

Roads at 4 PM, Atumpan African Dance at 4:30 PM, the Peninsula Chinese American Association (Tai-chi Team, Youth and Adult Folk Dance) at 5 PM, Tumbao Salsero (Latin America) at 5:30 PM, and headliner Red Baraat from 7 – 9 PM. Red Baraat is an eight-piece band from Brooklyn, New York. Conceived by dhol player Sunny Jain, the group has drawn worldwide praise for its singular sound — a merging of hard driving North Indian Bhangra with elements of go-go, rock and jazz.
