Recommendations from residents at a community meeting were incorporated into the design. The project includes narrowing the existing road by adding a bike lane separated from vehicular traffic by a raised median as well as adding sidewalk along the waterfront of Chesapeake Avenue. The project is currently in the design phase with construction anticipated to begin fall 2017. For more information, please visit the City’s Project Status Report online.
