Come out to King-Lincoln Park (600 Jefferson Avenue) this Saturday, June 4, 12 PM – 5 PM for the annual King-Lincoln Park Day. Kids can enjoy free face painting, storytelling, a moon bounce, giant slides, a speed pitch, a soccer shootout, t-shirt painting and an obstacle course. Everyone is welcome to free sno cones,

cotton candy, and a cakewalk, and free Bingo is offered for ages 50 & up. The afternoon will be filled with live music by The Michael Clark Band featuring Tracy Clark (R & B, Blues, Soul, Jazz, Funk, Rock; 12– 12:45 PM and 1-1:45 PM), Atumpan The Talking Drums (African Drumming and Dancing; 2-3 PM), and RaJazz (Smooth Jazz, Soul; 3:15-4 PM and 4:14 – 5 PM).
Guests can compete in a basketball contest for prizes sponsored by the Doris Miller Community Center, check out a showcase from the Newport News Tennis Program and make crafts with the Downing-Gross Cultural Arts Center.
