On Monday, May 30, join the U.S. Air Force Heritage of America Band at City Center at Oyster Point for a free concert and pay tribute to those who have served our country and made the ultimate sacrifice. Gates will open at 5 PM. and music will begin at 5:30 PM as the Arsenal Band provides a pre-show event for the 7:30 PM U.S. Air Force Heritage of America Band concert. This commemorative evening performance is outdoors, so blankets and lawn chairs are encouraged.
The Arsenal Brass is a vibrant, energetic group mostly comprised of military musicians playing horns and rhythm section instruments. They are steeped in traditional New Orleans music yet are equally popular for their renditions of pop, rock, and Motown, all with that special brass band flare.
Earning international critical acclaim for their music, the U.S. Air Force Heritage of America Band have performed for many dignitaries including foreign heads of state as well as U. S. Presidents. They currently call Joint Base Langley-Eustis their home.
