The Newport News Parks, Recreation and Tourism’s Youth Programs is hosting Spring Break Camp again this year. The program offers a safe and fun environment for youth during their time out of school. Campers are spending the week playing laser tag, creating various crafts, participating in different STEM projects, sports activities and more.
Spring Break Camp runs April 2-6 for Newport News Public Schools and Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Parents can bring children daily as early as 6 a.m. and pick them up as late as 6:30 p.m. from Brittingham-Midtown Community Center or Denbigh Community Center. The cost to attend is $27 per day for each child. Register online at
