NNTV Offers New Programming

ocmNewport News TV offers new programs every week that can help keep you up to date on what’s happening in the City. Showing now on NNTV are new shows about marathon weekend, public art, Sister Cities, recent development announcements and much more! 

The 2018 One City Marathon Weekend took place earlier this month and NNTV has all of the highlights from the Health & Wellness Expo to the pasta dinner to the races. Team Honor, made up of four NNPD officers, ran the One City Marathon Relay in full police uniform and carried a flag with the branches of the US military from start to finish. And did you know there was a Tango Marathon that also took place that weekend? We’ll show you the joys of dance in in latest edition of Around Newport News.

A new Sister Cities sign was unveiled in City Center displaying the names of Newport News’ Sister Cities around the world, with directions and distances. Watch along with the 16-member delegation from Neyagawa who was on hand to honor thissc partnership and witness the sign unveiling. 

Celebrate the groundbreaking of a new office building in Brooks Crossing, and take a look at Muhlbauer’s newly expanded space in Oakland Industrial Park. Watch highlights as the latest mural was unveiled in the Southeast Community – this on honoring the late Civil Rights Activist W. Hale Thompson. You have a few more days to visit the Peninsula Fine Arts Center’s the Art of Asia exhibit now through March 25th, but you can watch it at your leisure on NNTV.
