Now with before and after camp care option for participants.

Spring is in the air (almost) and so is the time to register for spring break camp. The Virginia Living Museum is holding Spring Break Camp from April 2 – 6 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily. Children are divided into sections by school grade. In Discovery Awaits, grades K – 2nd attendees will investigate a variety of common yet complex questions such as “Why is the sky blue?” The class will enjoy hands on experiments and animal encounters leading to more curiosity and questions that only kids can ask. To register, go to
Discovery Awaits! For Grades 3 – 5, the camp is called Museum by Design. Youth can work alongside staff learning about what makes a museum run on a daily basis from their own behind the scenes experiences. They will learn about a variety of animal habitats and build models of animal exhibits. To register go to
Museum by Design.
The cost of the camp for the week is $235 for Virginia Living Museum members and $265 for non-members. Lunch is not provided so everyone needs to bring their own. After camp care is also available from 3:00-5:30 p.m. for the additional cost of $95 for the week with a daily snack included. Register for
