Every summer, Newport News Public Library System (NNPLS) offers a free reading program for children and teens. Beginning Sunday, May 15th, both youth and adults can register for the reading program that rewards them with coupons, free books, and other prizes.

The program, that starts June 20th and runs to July 31st, requires participants to log their reading time or attend NNPLS events to earn points for use toward prizes. There is an optional online portion for all ages so readers are able to easily log their time. In addition to the prizes that can be earned, there will also be a drawing for grand prizes for children, teens, and adults at the program’s end.
